During the procedure, your surgeon will make an incision just above your pubic area, extending from one hip bone to the other, following along the pubic bone, allowing you to easily conceal your scar with undergarments.
For a full tummy tuck, the surgeon will tighten the underlying muscles with sutures. For both full and mini tummy tucks, the surgeon will remove excess fat, before pulling the remaining skin and tissue over the area, and closing the incision. At this point, excess skin and fat are removed, and your procedure is complete.
