What Should I Expect During My Sculptra® Treatment?

We’ll administer Sculptra® Aesthetic with a small gauge needle, and might apply a topical cream to your skin to numb the area. Several injections will be needed, to consistently soften the lines and folds.

You can resume your regular activities immediately after the appointment. Patients commonly experience symptoms like itching, pinpoint bleeding, swelling, and tenderness after their treatment, and these symptoms fade in about 24 to 48 hours.

When Will I See My Results?

You’ll see changes in your appearance immediately after each appointment. We usually recommend a series of three treatments for optimal results, and you’ll start to notice the lines and wrinkles will gradually disappear as the collagen develops in your skin.

Are There Any Possible Complications with Sculptra®?

Our highly-experienced surgeons and estheticians take great care to avoid any complications with Sculptra® Aesthetic. You could be at a higher risk for complications if you’re allergic to the active ingredients in Sculptra® Aesthetic, or if you have a history of hypertrophic scarring or keloids. You should not have these treatments if you’re experiencing a skin infection or if your skin is inflamed.

How Long Will the Results of Sculptra® Last?

The results from Sculptra® Aesthetic treatments tend to last up to two years.

How Much Does Sculptra® Cost in Richmond?
