Dr. Aboutanos’ patient is a beautiful 39 year old woman who wanted tightening of excess skin after having children and losing weight. She underwent a tummy tuck with diastasis repair (abdominoplasty) and liposuction of the flanks and mid-back with Vaser (ultrasound energy-assisted liposuction). After childbirth and/or weight loss, excess skin of the abdomen can be removed with surgery to achieve a flat stomach and contoured torso.
